Audio what? You may have never heard of audio imaging before. Today’s guest also never heard of it before he started working in radio. That’s why we believe it’s time for an introduction. In this episode of Audry Talks Audio, our Co-Founder Niklas Hildebrand talks to Thomas Green, custom imaging manager at Benztown. Thomas produces various podcasts for different clients, such as National Geographic.  

 They talk about what audio imaging exactly is, why it is so important and how it is done.

About Thomas Green

Thomas joined Benztown in 2019 after relocating from Australia to New York. His audio career began in 2013, co-founding a production business whilst finishing the final year of his Bachelor of Music (Honours) in Composition & Creative Production from the University of Newcastle. Following graduation, Thomas joined Southern Cross Austereo where he was promoted nationally throughout the Hit Network, also working for Triple M and PodcastOne Australia. This included imaging and producing for the shows Fifi, Fev & Byron (#1 Aus show in 2018), Carrie & Tommy, Rove & Sam, The Grill Team, Cat & Amos, and more. His time working at SCA included international travel, script & jingle writing, voiceover, designing shows from scratch plus recording artists such as Billie Eilish, Bebe Rexha, Portugal. The Man, Snow Patrol, and more. Thomas was also the audio imager and editor for Leon Sjogren’s award-winning “Am I Funny?” podcast, taking home the Australian Podcast Awards “Storytelling” prize in 2018.
