getting started with audry
Whether you’re a seasoned podcaster or just starting, collaboration can become a gamechanger in reaching your goals. Audry helps you browse, identify, and connect with like-minded podcasters. This helps you cross-promote your content in your niche to ultimately grow your audience.

Getting started with Audry is super easy and completely free. Read on if you’d like to learn about the first steps.

Create your (free) profile.

When signing up here, the only thing you need is your Apple Podcast URL and an email address you would like to use. We will send a short confirmation email to the RSS feed email address of the podcast you sign up with to make sure that you are the owner. If no email address is provided, we will ask you to send a specific screenshot from your hosting provider account.

After you verified ownership, we send you through a short onboarding flow. Next to obvious stuff (like password and name), we want to get to know your audience a little better. You also get the chance to upload a trailer of your show if you have one. This makes exchanging ads with other creators super easy. After creating your profile, it’s time to discover the platform!

Start exploring partners.

Now you’re really getting started with Audry. On Audry, you have three options to find a new partner. First, you can find inspiration on the ‘Discover’ page. There, you find shows that are comparable to yours and that have joined recently, share the same categories, or have a similar reach to yours. Second, you can search for shows with certain characteristics. In the same section, you can search for shows by using certain keywords, but you can also use the filters that help you find shows within a certain category. Third, somebody who has discovered your profile might reach out to you directly via the message tool.

If you have found a potential partner you like, you can visit their profile page to learn more about their content and the audience they are talking to. Do you feel it could be a match? Feel free to reach out!

Reach out to somebody you like.

After you have found podcasts that you want to collaborate with, you’ll need to write a message that grabs their attention. The goal is to stand out from the crowd. In addition to telling potential collaborators about your podcast’s premise, explaining why collaborating makes sense is always a good idea. If you would like to read more on how to reach out, feel free to check out this article.

One last thing: when you sign up to Audry, we ask you for your listens/ episode. This number we will not show on a podcaster profile but we will show a bracket of listens you would fall into. This is also shown only to users that have verified their reach with us. You can do so too from your settings page.

We would love to welcome you on board. Happy connecting on Audry!
